Pubs in Ipswich have been warned that they could be shut down if they allow any derby match trouble.
Police have sent a letter to pub owners advising them to close their premises for two hours after the match between Ipswich Town and Norwich City tomorrow.
A spokesman from Suffolk Police said: “The letter was sent to all licensed premises highlighting their licensing condition and warning that if there is public disorder then their licenses could be revoked.”
Ipswich fans will be looking for a revengeful comeback after their 5-1 defeat in April 2011.
The match kicks off at 12.15pm at Portman Road, Ipswich.
