A middle-aged woman has suffered “life changing” head and chest injuries after being hit by a car during the evening rush hour.
The accident along Ransomes Way, Ipswich happened at around 5.30pm today.
The woman was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance. A full assessment of her condition is currently being carried out.
Suffolk Constabulary’s Serious Collision Investigation Team attended the incident. Anyone with information should contact Ipswich Police on 101.
