JEAN Lawrence struck gold – or perhaps silver – when she unearthed more than she bargained for in her garden during the Jubilee celebrations.

With Land of Hope and Glory being played on the radio in the background, Jean, of Hadleigh Road, Elmsett, was stunned when she dug up a remarkable find in her garden – a 1977 Silver Jubilee coin.
