It'll be just like watching Brazil!

BRING on Brazil! That's where England's thoughts will be turning now after Sven Goran Eriksson's braves blasted Denmark out of the way in rain-soaked Niigata today.

BRING on Brazil! That's where England's thoughts will be turning now after Sven Goran Eriksson's braves blasted Denmark out of the way in rain-soaked Niigata today.

Once again, England impressed for only the half the game. But that half was more than good enough to take them through to the World Cup quarter-finals.

Skipper David Beckham was involved in all three goals as England beat the Danes 3-0.

A Beckham corner led to the fifth-minute opener – an own goal by Sunderland keeper Thomas Sorensen as he tried to prevent a Rio Ferdinand header reaching the feet of Michael Owen close in.

Owen grabbed the second on 22 minutes, with an excellent finish from seven yards after being put in by Nicky Butt.

Emile Heskey hammered the final nail in the Danes' coffin with a thunderous first-time strike from just outside the box a minute before half-time.

So England have hit form just at the right time, with a last-eight meeting to come next Friday. They must wait till Monday to find out whether their opponents in that game will be Belgium – or World Cup favourites Brazil.
