Hopes are rising that up-market Jack Wills could soon be on its way to Ipswich town centre.
The company has been in negotiations for months to take over the former Croydons and Blacks store on Tavern Street.
However these have taken longer than expected – but now it has started advertising for a store manager. It has already advertised for other shop staff.
No one from the company was available to talk about its plans, but it is understood the talks on the lease have made some progress and the advertisements could herald an autumn opening.
