Jewellery, cash and antique watch stolen during Belstead burglaries

Police are appealing for information after two home burglaries in Belstead last week.

A home at Grove Hill was broken into between 4.30pm on September 10 and 2.15pm on eptember 11 before items of jewellery and an antique silver pocket watch were stolen.

A home in The Street was broken into between 5pm on Thursday and 4pm on Friday, with a quantity of cash stolen.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in these areas between Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon to come forward. Officers would also like to hear from anyone who may have been offered a similar pocket watch or items of jewellery.
