The incident happened in Ravens Lane, Bramford, sometime between 1pm and 5pm on Friday, October 20.
The female victim left the home secure and locked at 1pm, but found that a search of her home had taken place and a large double pane of glass in the patio doors had been smashed.
A police spokesman said that various items of jewellery had been taken from inside a wooden box, including a gold bracelet, a wedding ring, a gold ring, a pair of gold earrings and another pair of earrings.
