Joyriders hunted after crash
POLICE have launched an investigation after the wreckage of a stolen car was found abandoned between Needham Market and Stowmarket.

POLICE have launched an investigation after the wreckage of a stolen car was found abandoned between Needham Market and Stowmarket.
Incredibly the culprits appear to have walked away from this crash – but then have vanished into thin air.
The white, K-reg BMW 518 was found in a copse off the B1113 after it is thought thieves lost control and left the road as they headed towards Stowmarket.
Police used a sniffer dog to try to track down the driver or passengers from car as the wreckage suggested there may have been casualties.

But the search of the immediate area - and a check with Ipswich hospital - revealed no signs of them.
Police who were called to inspect the wreckage said that the driver obviously lost control, mounted the grass verge and smashed into a cluster of trees, narrowly, missing a stream.
The car had been stolen from a car park in Stowmarket
A man, who declined to be named but who lives in the house opposite to where the accident happened, said a police officer told him that the car had been stolen.
He said: "I heard the sounding of horns during the night but it is not uncommon to hear that.
"The policeman came to my door inquiring if I had heard anything and he told me the car had been stolen."
If anyone saw anything of the car or the incident, which is believed to have occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning, they should call Suffolk police on 01473 613500.
