AN internet pervert who preyed on a 13-year-old girl in a chatroom was today jailed for two years.
AN internet pervert who preyed on a 13-year-old girl in a chatroom was today jailed for two years.
Jamie Taylor, of Newberry Road, Bildeston, pretended to be a 17-year-old boy when he persuaded the girl to engage in a sexual act while he watched via a webcam.
After earlier pleading guilty to the offence and three separate charges of making indecent photographs by downloading them on to his computer, he appeared at Ipswich Crown Court today and was handed a two-year term for his contact with the girl.
He was sentenced to separate terms of four months and nine months, to run concurrently with the two-year spell, for charges relating to the indecent images.
