A Christmas fete had people feeling festive in Kesgrave at the weekend, in aid of three Suffolk charities.
The event, organised by staff at Kesgrave Tesco, was held at the town’s Scout hut and raised £321 to be split between East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), Diabetes UK and the British Heart Foundation.
A number of gift, arts and crafts and food stalls pitched up for the fete, while several of lucky youngsters got the chance to meet Father Christmas in his grotto and decorated Christmas cookies to show him while they waited.
Among the fete’s organisers was Laura Curtis, who said: “It was great, a good turnout. It was very festive. Everyone enjoyed it.”
Further funds will be raised for the three charities through sales of Christmas hampers at Kesgrave Tesco until December 20.
