A networking event at Kesgrave Community Centre has helped support St Elizabeth Hospice thanks to a static cycle challenge raising cash for the cause.
The monthly networking event featured an inspirational talk by Dionne Walton from Volunteering Matters, before those present took part in a 1km static cycle challenge and gave a donation to the hospice.
Glenn Savill from Aston Shaw Accountants set the fastest time, completing the 1km in just 1m 13s.
Rhian Snell, marketing executive for sponsors Bates Wells & Braithwaite Solicitors, said: “Bates Wells & Braithwaite Solicitors are proud sponsors of these networking events, which raise much needed funds for St Elizabeth Hospice who improve life for those living with progressive and terminal illnesses through palliative care.”
The next networking event is being held on March 13 with Lenitha Bishop from Lentado on data protection.
