Kesgrave Town Council has confirmed that the Big Lunch Fun Day will return to the town next June following the success of this year’s event.
The community event featured hundreds of people gathering at the Millennium Jubilee Hall and sports field for live music performances, sports club demonstrations, inflatable slides, photo society exhibition and family activities such as mini golf and archery.
Now, the event will return on June 9 next year.
A spokeswoman said: “The Big Lunch Fun Day held in June this year was a great success, it showcased the work of local clubs, charities and organisations and there was so much to do and try.
“The town council’s community and recreation committee received a report on feedback from the stall holders and activity organisers and have agreed that this should take place again next year on June 9 2018 but the event title has been simplified to Kesgrave Fun Day.”
