Nine vehicles in Kesgrave have had items stolen from them in just a fortnight.
The latest theft happened overnight between 8pm on Monday and 8am Tuesday when a Ford S Maz was left insecure in Walker Chase, and a sat nav and small change were stolen from within.
Since the beginning of October nine other instances have been reported in Kesgrave, six of which had been left insecure.
The spate in crime has prompted a warning from police.
“Police are reminding local residents to secure their vehicles and remove anything of any value which is on display to help ensure they do not become a victim of crime,” a police spokesman said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Kesgrave Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101 quoting WO/14/1613 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
