A clairvoyant evening has been organised by two Kesgrave teenagers to help them fund a South African expedition.

Lauren Hopson and Elise Innes, both 16 and pupils at Kesgrave High School, have organised the event with Ipswich-based clairvoyant Stephanie Carr on Monday, April 11.

The pair will be among a group of sixth formers from the school travelling to South Africa in July, to help wildlife conservation projects on the Shamwari Game Reserve. They will be working with ecology, conservation and veterinary teams based at the reserve and their activities will include predator tracking, rehabilitation of injured and orphaned animals and anti-poaching patrols, as well as working with the Born Free Foundation. The group will also work in and with the local community to help improve the local environment and facilities as part of a programme of ongoing sustainable projects.

The pair need to raise £2,000 to fund the expedition.

Tickets for the clairvoyant evening, at Kesgrave Community Centre, cost £10 and are available by calling 07739 667094, 07709 786862 or emailing rebecca.hopson@btinternet.com or kerri.innes@btinternet.com.
