The prize winning author, poet and translator is to hold a talk in Ipswich.
Kevin Crossley-Holland will be joining the Ipswich Children’s Book club in March to talk about all things magic and monsters.
Mr Crossley-Holland is best known for his Arthur trilogy for which he won the Guardian Children’s Fiction Award and the Smarties Prize Bronze medal.
The books have since been translated into 25 different languages and have sold over a million copies.
As well as being a children’s author Mr Crossley-Holland has also done a great deal of translation work himself, particularly in the area of myths and legends such as Beowulf.
The event is taking place at the St Peter’s by the Waterfront church on March 9 at 6.30pm and is suitable for children aged seven and upwards.
