A TEENAGER has been arrested on suspicion of carrying out a terrifying robbery at a drive-thru of a fast food restaurant in a Suffolk town.
Police have arrested a 19-year-old man from Sudbury on suspicion of carrying out the raid at the Kentucky Fried Chicken site on Northern Road, Sudbury last Thursday.
A significant amount of cash was taken in the incident at 9.40pm where staff were confronted by a knife-wielding robber who climbed through the drive-through hatch.
A spokesman for KFC has since praised the bravery of their workers and reassured customers it is business as usual on the Shawlands Retail Park.
The man has since been released on bail and is due to return to Bury St Edmunds police station on Thursday, September 24.
