THERE was just no stopping these youngsters!

Children from Ipswich Private Kindergarten on Woodbridge Road got on their bikes and scooters to take part in a sponsored pedal push in aid of Childline.

"It was brilliant and they all thoroughly enjoyed it," said nursery nurse Claire Spruce, who organised the charity event.

"Nine children took part, aged from three to five, and I think they did about 100 laps altogether. They went round and round a track we have which is set out like a little road, with mini-zebra crossings."

One of the nursery nurses, Leah Castle, also got on a scooter to join in the fun.

Claire said she did not yet know how much money had been raised, but the children were all really enthusiastic and would love to do it all over again.
