Knife attack on man in Ipswich

POLICE in Ipswich have launched a hunt for teenage muggers who threatened a man with a knife before stealing his wallet.

The incident happened shortly after 5pm last night in the grounds of Suffolk College.

The incident happened shortly after 5pm last night in the grounds of Suffolk College.

Two youths carrying a knife approached the victim and threatened to stab him if he did not hand over cash.

After the victim handed over his wallet, the offenders made their escape – one on foot and the other on a BMX bike.

The boy on the bike is described as black, about 14 or 15 years old, around 5ft 7ins, of slim build. He was wearing a grey hat that tied underneath his chin. His accomplice is described as white, of thin build with a shaved head.
