Police are appealing for witnesses following an early morning burglary in Ipswich where a laptop, cigarettes, food and drink were stolen.
The burglary took place yesterday, Wednesday, October 18, between 2.30am and 7am, at a house on Rosebery Road.
The offender gained access to the property through an insecure kitchen window at the rear of the building.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said: “Once inside, a search was made with a laptop, cigarettes and food and drink taken.”
Following the burglary, police have reminded residents to be vigilant and close all windows fully before leaving their home, to lock downstairs windows and remove the keys.
