Large blaze at thatched cottage

SEVERAL fire crews tackled a large blaze at a thatched cottage overnight.Two floors and the roof of the cottage in Rectory Road, Sutton, in Norfolk, were severely damaged in the fire, which started at 6.25pm.

SEVERAL fire crews tackled a large blaze at a thatched cottage overnight.

Two floors and the roof of the cottage in Rectory Road, Sutton, in Norfolk, were severely damaged in the fire, which started at 6.25pm yesterday.

Eight fire crews and four support crews were in attendance throughout the night to douse the flames and damp down the property.
