Norfolk Fire and Rescue officers were called to the outskirts of King's Lynn at 6.49pm last night.
The fire was next to Fleet Timber Supplies in Poplar Avenue, Saddlebow and was close to several hundred tonnes of wood and woodchip.
Fire crews fought to stop the blaze spreading to a neighbouring timber yard. Engines from King's Lynn, Terrington, Fakenham and Hethersett were sent along with two water carriers.
