In 1990, Copleston High School in Ipswich opened it’s doors and put on fun day for families and members of the community to enjoy.

There were a number of activities on offer to keep both children and adults entertained, including face painting, bouncy castles and slides.

There was also the chance to throw wet sponges at several unlucky volunteers who had been held in the stocks.

These pictures from the day show people of all ages taking part in the games and events held on the school field, as well as a live performance from youngsters playing steelpans in front of the crowds.
