TWO lorries were involved in a collision on the A12 northbound at Capel St Mary.
Police urged motorists to avoid the area after it was thought one of the lorries had jack-knifed in the accident yesterday on the A12 sliproad.
But the crash turned out to be a minor – the lorries were thought to have collided when they braked sharply to avoid a car. There were no reports of any serious injuries.
The accident happened at 3.42 pm and the road was cleared after 20 minutes.
