A LORRY has flipped on its side and rolled down an embankment in Ipswich causing major traffic chaos.The accident happened in the Felixstowe direction of the A14 just 500 metres before the Copdock interchange.
A LORRY driver had a lucky escape today after his vehicle careered off a major road on the outskirts of Ipswich and ploughed down an embankment.
The male driver of the lorry is thought to have lost control while on the A14 at around 500 metres before the Copdock interchange in the Felixstowe direction.
The trucker escaped almost completely unharmed with just minor leg injuries and shock to show for his ordeal.
The incident happened at 11.15am .
