Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident of criminal damage in a pub in Lowestoft.

Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident of criminal damage in a pub in Lowestoft.

It happened in London Road South at the Plough and Sail public house on Saturday February 24 at about 10.30pm.

A shelf behind a bar area was damaged and some glasses were smashed.

A window at the front of the pub was also smashed and the front door of the pub also sustained damage to the bottom panel.

A 35 year old woman was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and a 37 year old woman was arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the incident but both have been released under investigation.
