A driver is said to have been lucky to have escaped a crash in Suffolk unharmed after their car suffered severe damage.
The crash happened at Foxhall Road’s entrance into Rushmere St Andrew near Nuffield Hospital at 6.20pm and involved a silver Ford Fiesta.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said no one was injured and traffic was able to pass the accident site while the damaged vehicle was recovered.
The Norfolk and Suffolk Roads Policing Team tweeted a picture of the damaged car.
They said it was “amazingly lucky” it was a damage-only collision and no one had been hurt.
There have been several reported collisions in Suffolk this afternoon. A female pedestrian was injured after a collision with a motorbike in Bramford Road, Ipswich, just after 3pm.
The driver of a blue Peugeot also suffered injuries after their vehicle rolled on the B1508 near Little Cornard at around 3.20pm
