FIREWORKS marked the end of an afternoon of fun and games as neighbours in two Ipswich streets came together to celebrate the Queen's jubilee.

About 130 adults and children living in Badgers Bank and Brook View joined in Saturday's entertainment to commemorate the landmark event.

There was a fancy dress competition, plenty of games, a bouncy castle and a disco to name just some of the activities that had been organised.

Magician Colini Wizard was on hand to keep children entranced with his tricks.

And there were plenty of refreshments including a communal sit down buffet meal in the true tradition of street parties and an evening barbecue.

As the sky was lit up by a small firework display late in the evening, the celebrations came to an end but the celebration will remain as a golden memory to everyone who joined in the fun.
