A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after losing control of a BMW in Kesgrave.
Police were called at around 9pm yesterday to Penzance Road, opposite the Post Office, to find the car had collided with a wall and gone into a garden.
A Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said: “The bonnet and front wheels went through the wall and into someone’s garden and the car is on a public footpath. The driver has been detained on suspicion of drink-driving.”
The driver and the female passenger were both uninjured.
The man will be questioned by police.
