WATTISHAM based RAF Search and Rescue airlifted a man to hospital yesterday from a field near Bury St Edmunds. A spokesman said a Sea King helicopter crew was scrambled shortly before 7pm.
WATTISHAM based RAF Search and Rescue airlifted a man to hospital yesterday from a field near Bury St Edmunds.
A spokesman said a Sea King helicopter crew was scrambled shortly before 7pm.
He said: “We airlifted a male walker with a dislocated hip from a field near Norton to West Suffolk Hospital, in Bury St Edmunds. The crew returned at 8pm.”
