A 25-YEAR-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a fatal road traffic collision in Cooke Road, Gisleham, near Lowestoft, this morning.
A 25-YEAR-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a fatal road traffic collision in Cooke Road, Gisleham, near Lowestoft, this morning.
The collision, which involved three vehicles - a white Volvo lorry, a blue Ford Transit pick-up and a black Suzuki motorbike, happened at about 7.30am.
The 27-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pick-up has been arrested and taken into custody at Lowestoft police station where he will be interviewed by officers.
The road remains closed while investigations into the collision get underway.
Police are asking anyone who saw the incident, who has not yet spoken to officers, to call the Serious Collision Investigation Team at police headquarters on 01473 613500.
