Police said a 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary following the incident inside and outside a property in St Georges Street at around 2.15pm.

A man has been arrested after an incident at a property in Ipswich this afternoon.

Police said a 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary following the incident inside and outside a property in St Georges Street at around 2.15pm.

The man is being held in custody at the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre where he is being questioned by officers.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward. Call police on 101, quoting CAD number 189 of March 18, 2015.
