A MAN has been detained under the Mental Health Act following a five-hour siege in Needham Market.
The incident started on Saturday when police were called to Ludbrook Close at 1.40pm to assist a doctor treating a patient.
Police were forced to withdraw from the scene but contained the incident in the early evening when they detained the man who was treated in hospital for a hand injury.
