POLICE have today arrested a 36-year-old man from the Basildon area on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.A 23-year-old man was walking with a group of friends crossing Upper Mayne, in Basildon, when he was in a collision with a car that failed to stop.
POLICE have today arrested a 36-year-old man from the Basildon area on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
A 23-year-old father of two, Steven Curtis, of Mellow Purges, near Basildon, was walking with a group of friends crossing Upper Mayne, in Basildon, when he was in a collision with a car that failed to stop.
The incident happened at 9.20pm on Saturday.
