A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Colchester.
A 21-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen, suffering serious but not life-threatening injuries, in The Square at around 4.30am today.
He was taken to Colchester General Hospital.
A 26-year-old man from Colchester was arrested nearby a short time after and is currently in police custody.
