A MAN has been arrested after a 15-year-old boy was gunned down as he walked along a street with friends.
Kadeem Blackwood was shot in the chest as he walked in Caxton Street, Derby, at about 9.15pm last night.
He was taken to Derbyshire Royal Infirmary but died later from his injuries.
The scene of the shooting is now cordoned off as police start their investigation. A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
Assistant Chief Constable Peter Goodman said: “This is a terrible tragedy in which a young teenager has lost his life.”
