Three people suffered stab wounds after a fight broke out among a group of men in Cardinal Park in Ipswich this morning.
Two men, a 21-year-old from Colchester and a 19-year-old from Ipswich, who were arrested following the incident have been released under investigation.
A police spokesman said officers were called to Cardinal Park at around 3.15am to reports of a fight between two men.
He said: “During this incident other people became involved resulting in three people sustaining stab wounds.
“It is believed some of the parties were known to each other.”
All three victims were taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment, with one of them suffering a potential punctured lung.
None of the injuries are considered life-threatening.
A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 3.16am today, October 6, to an incident on Grafton Way in Ipswich.
“A rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer and three ambulance crews were dispatched to the scene to help.
“Three patients were assessed and treated at the scene.
“One patient was treated for a puncture wound to the chest. “The other two patients were treated for puncture wounds to their backs.
“All three patients were conveyed to Ipswich Hospital for further treatment.
“None of their injuries were thought to be life-threatening”.
The 21-year-old man from Colchester was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm, the 19-year-old from Ipswich was arrested on suspicion of affray.
