A MAN was arrested tonight by police investigating a suspect bag at Stansted Airport.The bag was found near the entrance shortly before 7pm and large parts of the terminal were closed while experts checked it over.
A MAN was arrested tonight by police investigating a suspect bag at Stansted Airport.
The bag was found near the entrance shortly before 7pm and large parts of the terminal were closed while experts checked it over.
An Essex Police spokeswoman said the man was arrested shortly after returning to the bag.
She added the airport was operating normally and there was “no cause for concern”.
