A 19-YEAR-OLD man from Ipswich has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm after an armed siege at Solar Bowl last night.
The man was arrested at midday at his home address and is currently at Ipswich Police Station awaiting questioning.
Police were called to the bowling alley in Sproughton Road, Ipswich, at about 9pm last night to reports of a man on the premises with a firearm.
People were evacuated from the premises and the surrounding area was searched. A BB gun was later located and seized by police.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
