Police made one arrest at the Championship game at Portman Road last night.
A 21-year-old man from Hertfordshire was arrested for criminal damage, which took place inside the stadium at around 9.40pm. police said.
Brett Pitman scored an injury time winning goal for Town who beat Leeds United 2-1 at Portman Road in the Championship fixture, which finished at around 9.45pm.
Police said the man was taken into custody at the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre and was later given a conditional caution. He was released at around lunchtime today, the force spokesman said.
Police could not confirm in which stand the criminal damage took place.
There were no other arrests at the match.
