A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after emergency services were called to a house fire in Spring Road, Ipswich, this morning.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue was called shortly after 12.50am to a house in Spring Road, Ipswich, which was on fire.
A fire service spokeswoman said that three crews from Ipswich attended, and used hose reels to put out the flames by 1.20am.
No-one was reported missing or injured.
A police spokeswoman said that officers were called at 12.55am, and arrested a man in Spring Road on suspicion of arson.
The man is currently still in custody.
It is not yet clear how the fire started, but an investigation is underway to determine the cause.
