A 30-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of robbery following an incident at a convenience store in Ipswich has been bailed to return to police on February 10.

The robbery happened around 6pm on Thursday, December 3 at St John’s Convenience Store in St Johns Road, when a man entered the shop and took a quantity of cash from the till.

The 30-year-old was arrested yesterday and taken into custody where he was interviewed by detectives.

Police are continuing to ask anyone with information about the robbery to call Ipswich CID at Suffolk police on 101, quoting crime number 37/19000/15.
