A 21-YEAR-OLD man was today arrested after a fatal hit-and-run in Ipswich.
Police arrested the man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving at 4.46pm.
Susan Garnham, 61, of Hexham Close, died at Ipswich Hospital after a collision on Sunday at about 8.45am in Stoke Park Drive.
Today's arrest, in Blake Road, Ipswich, follows information received from a member of the public.
The man is in custody at Ipswich police station awaiting questioning.
Police have recovered a dark grey Fiat Punto for forensic examination.
