A MAN has been arrested in connection with an alleged hit-and-run which saw a pensioner die on Christmas Day.

Officers believe grandmother Katherine Aldridge, 67, was hit by a small vehicle when she was walking near her home in Pulham St Mary, Norfolk on Christmas Eve.
Mrs Aldridge died at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on Christmas Day.
A Norfolk Police spokeswoman said a 37-year-old man from the Diss area was arrested after he voluntarily attended a police station yesterday evening.
He has since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
