A man was assaulted in the toilets of Unit 17 nightclub in Cardinal Park in Ipswich, police have said.
Officers are investigating after the man was assaulted by another man at around 1am on Saturday, July 30.
The victim suffered sustained cuts and bruises, Suffolk Constabulary said.
Unit 17, formerly known as Liquid & Envy, relaunched in July 2015. It has three rooms and a capacity for 1,430 people. It is the biggest nightclub in Ipswich and Suffolk.
Witnesses or anybody who has any information about the incident are asked to call police on 101, quoting reference 47839/16.
