POLICE are appealing for witnesses today after a 21-year-old man was attacked in the underpass in Civic Drive, Ipswich.The victim was taken to hospital with head injuries after the incident near the St Matthew's Street roundabout, at around 12.20am.
POLICE are appealing for witnesses today after a 21-year-old man was attacked in the underpass in Civic Drive in Ipswich.
The victim was taken to hospital with head injuries after the incident near the St Matthew's Street roundabout, at around 12.20am today.
A police spokesman said the man was punched, causing him to fall on the ground.
Ambulance arrived on the scene to find a large amount of blood on the floor and took him to Ipswich Hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.
