A 26-YEAR-OLD man arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a crash on the A12 today has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
The accident at Copdock at around 5.30am happened after a vehicle was seen driving the wrong way down the carriageway.
The resulting carnage caused chaos for commuters who faced heavy delays while a stretch of the Ipswich-bound carriageway was closed.
The man, who is from Colchester, has been bailed to return to Ipswich Police Station on November 5.
