A MAN has been released on police bail after being arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis and possessing indecent images.

A MAN has been released on police bail after being arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis and possessing indecent images.

The 64-year-old was arrested at about 10.45am yesterday after police executed a warrant at an address in Curlew Road, Ipswich, under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Officers found a fully operational cannabis factory in a shed in the rear garden. They seized a quantity of established and newly planted cannabis plants.

The man was initially arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and was also later questioned on suspicion of possessing indecent images.

He was bailed to return to Ipswich police station on August 8.
