Man bailed over Norfolk death
A 49 year old man arrested in connection with the death of a woman in Poringland, near Norwich on Saturday morning has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
A 49 year old man who was arrested in connection with the death of a woman in Poringland, near Norwich on Saturday morning has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
The body of a 49-year-old woman was discovered in a bungalow in Cawston Meadows, Poringland on Friday evening after a phone call from a concerned relative.
A Home Office post mortem examination has been carried out, the cause of death is inconclusive and further toxicology reports are awaited.
Police believe the woman, who has not been formally named, may have died on or around January 23.
She is believed to be Gillian Webb. Electoral records indicate she and a man called Kevin Webb lived at the property.
One neighbour said the pair kept themselves to themselves.

“The last time I spoke to her was in summer, she was always out doing the garden” he said. “You wouldn't know anyone lived there. She used to work part-time and he used to work until about eight months ago, I assumed he retired.”
The man arrested was detained by police in Scarborough, Yorkshire at about 4am on Saturday.
