A MAN is being treated in hospital after being bitten by a snake.An ambulance crew was called to Nelson Road, Great Yarmouth, after the 30-year-old man was bitten on his thumb by the reptile.

An ambulance crew was called to Nelson Road, Great Yarmouth, after the 30-year-old man was bitten on his thumb by the reptile.
A spokeswoman for the ambulance service said the incident happened at around 10.28am and the man arrived at the James Pageat Hospital by 11am.
