A LORRY driver from Ipswich has been charged with careless driving following a fatal crash two months ago.
The 39-year-old has been bailed to return to Colchester Magistrates' Court on November 29.
The accident took place on the southbound carriageway of the A12 at Kelvedon, just before 7am on September 10.
A 48-year-old cyclist suffered multiple injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
The collision caused major delays for rush hour traffic and motorists were diverted onto the A120 through Witham and Chelmsford.
